Agreement

By accessing or using the website and application at https://bowsy.com.au (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

Bowsy provides informational maps and tools to help you find fuel prices and public EV charging information in Australia. Features may change; we may suspend or discontinue parts of the Service with or without notice.

Sign-in with Google

Optional sign-in uses Google OAuth. Your use of Google’s services is also subject to Google’s terms and policies. You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

Data and maps disclaimer

Fuel and EV data are sourced from third-party feeds and databases (including state or territory price reporting where connected, and OpenChargeMap for EV locations). Data may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. Prices at the pump or charger always prevail over what appears in the app. You use map and pricing information at your own risk.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service: no unlawful activity, no attempt to disrupt or scrape the Service in a way that harms us or others, no reverse engineering except as permitted by law, and no use that violates applicable law in Australia or your location.

Intellectual property

The Service, branding, and original content are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in line with these terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from reliance on map or price data. Where liability cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to resupplying the Service or the cost of the Service again, or the minimum amount permitted by law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Service or breach of these terms, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

Changes

We may change these terms. We will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Australia.
